Peacock University...

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Peacock University. Later, I heard that even an elephant was seen on the campus. Wonder whether I can rename it as "Zoo University".  lol...

Doing Psychology online or through distance education was banned a few days back. (So that means my batch was the last one, and I was the last student who get admission.) That's what I thought. But I guess it is not for Government colleges?! Only time will tell.

The things that I don't like in class are, for example, when you want to get data from an alcohol addict, professors ask the students to imagine themselves as an addict and answer. Use the data you get through your imagination to plot graphs. Practical and project work has the same pattern of imagining and answering. Then how can you give counselling to an alcohol addict?!

Since there is no interaction with psychologists, therapists, or counsellors, how can a student do the work of a therapist or counsellor?

In a full-time class, they also follow this procedure. They have to ban that too, or change the curriculum.

But if this ban is to make private colleges to go out of business, then well, they will find a way to continue. 😇 

I can not leave narcissist out of the topic when I write about Peacock University. Walk in the campus is pleasant, will give a feeling that you have come for a picnic. Though I have many factors which is against studying there, main reason is narcissist student. Same student can become a factor of influence to study psychology in another University too.

My anger peaked within one second after reading the mail from Peacock University's HOD. The drama she put in the class... lol. The ways she used to eliminate students from attending the class. All that drama turned into different tone through the mail which addressed all the students.

When a student did not attend one class, she will stop sending any information through mail. Then why to send mail to all students now? Stupid lady.

When people came to the University to study through distance education, it means they are really interested in the subject and that stupid HOD doesn't have a brain to understand it and was paying drama.

I know one of my class mate who joined the course as she wanted to study under that HOD because of her talent. And she dropped our after attending few classes because the the psycho professor's behaviour.

Education will live long as long as it has such psycho professors.
