Sherlock Holmes & Mind Palace

The BBC’s Sherlock Homes played by Benedict Cumberbatch uses mnemonics known as “Mind Palace”.  Sherlock Homes used “Mind Palace” to solve crimes and it become popular among the viewers. The method of loci(Mind Palace) is a method of memory enhancement which uses visualizations with the use of spatial memory. To use “Mind Palace” visualize a complex place in which you could physically store a set of memories. Fill every room in the place with information you want to remember. Use symbols, creative ideas and mnemonics to store the information. When you need to recollect the memory, you can walk through the building in your  mind, seeing and remembering each item. This method improves memory capacity.

Changes...

You can not expect some change to happen in your life when you are inside your comfort zone. Changes happen to the people who comes out of their comfort zone. I wonder why most people draw a circle around them, and view others and wish to have life like them.

Happy Father's Day...

On this Father's day I am recollecting the things my dad has taught me. Hard work, sincerity, treating all human beings as equal and leadership quality. I still remember the incident about how I learnt to get work from others. "To make others to work properly, you should know to do that work perfectly". To make servants to work properly, I learnt to do their work perfectly. He always push me to take decisions on my own. Thank you dad, for being my friend always :)
